Gravida principal investigator and Massey University Professor David Raubenheimer, along with his colleague Professor Stephen Simpson from the University of Sydney, published a short paper in the highly regarded journal Nature in April. The article ‘Perspective: Tricks of the trade’ talked about the reduction of protein (and the quality of protein) in the modern diet and how they believe that this is fuelling the obesity epidemic.
