The Year 12 and 13 students participated in a discussion about Lord Winston's research into fertility, in vitro fertilisation, pre-implantation genetic diagnosis and the ethical and social challenges created by this technology.

Both broadcasts created lively discussions, assisted by each of the panels of four students, with keen interest via live-chat from the students watching remotely from as widely spread as Stewart Island, the Cook Islands, Gisborne, Northland and Christchurch.
