Masters opportunity in maternal and child health

December 2014

Gravida is currently seeking a student interested in undertaking a one year thesis masters starting in February 2015, based at the Liggins Institute at the University of Auckland.

This thesis will look at policies, practice and programmes in the maternal and child health workforce area, and ask: “What impacts the ability of the health workforce to translate key research messages about nutrition and exercise in pregnancy and early life in ways that improve health outcomes for women and children?

This is an exciting opportunity for a student interested in public health, health education, nutrition or research translation to undertake further study and be mentored by and international researchers from the Liggins Institute/Gravida and the University of Southampton.
